Kayode J. Ijalana is a Senior Cloud Engineer with over 10 years of experience in IT(Information Technology) in the United States. Mr. Ijalana's expertise is in Cloud Development Operations, also known as Cloud and DevOps. As a Cloud Engineer, Mr. Ijalana's work traverses both private and public sectors where he has helped to build some of the best, most secure, and scalable infrastructures in the United States of America. Some of the platforms he helped build today support critical cloud systems for both the government and private sectors.
His journey as a Cloud Engineer began while working with SMART Bus, a public transportation agency in Michigan, where he helped develop a modern, efficient, and secure transportation system utilizing cloud technology. The SMART transportation agency is adjudged as one of the best in the United States based on its use of technology for an effective and accessible public transport system.
Today, Mr. Ijalana is a Senior Cloud Engineer with one of the world's largest automobile manufacturers, where he has helped design and manage cloud platforms used across the conglomerate's global operations. His educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from Walsh College and an Associate Degree in Network Security from Macomb Community College. He has further distinguished himself through professional certifications, including AWS DevOps Engineer – Professional, AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Fundamentals, and Certified Kubernetes Administrator, demonstrating his commitment to continuous learning and excellence in his field.
Community Service & Philanthropy
Kayode Ijalana is a consummate leader, thinker, and philanthropist with a deep passion for service to his community in particular and Nigeria. His passion for service has seen him take on the challenge of health equity by building a world-class kidney dialysis center in Owo, Ondo state. He believes the path to our development lies not only in affordable health care services but also in opening up our rural areas to more opportunities.
This is why he has taken on the challenge of improving basic infrastructure by grading inner streets and providing solar-powered street lights in some communities.
Because of his passion for education, he has consistently provided scholarship opportunities for indigent students in addition to paying school fees, caring for the elderly, and providing funds for the settlement of medical bills for scores of people with no access to healthcare. In a nutshell, he has been a voice for the voiceless, a friend of the people, and a youth leader who fervently believes that we all win when we come together to serve our community.

Public Service and Representation
Kayode's decision to seek elective office is a continuation of the work he has already been doing in healthcare, infrastructure, electricity, and education. His vision for Owo/Ose is to build systems that outlive individuals and give young people, farmers, traders, artisans, and professionals a fair chance to succeed.
In offering himself to represent Owo/Ose Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, he sees public office as a means to scale impact, attract resources, and institutionalize the kind of interventions he has personally funded for years. Above all, he remains committed to honest, accessible, and visible representation for the people he serves.
